It’s finally here…it is amazing to see how far this band has grown over the past few years, though the shows, touring, DIY shows, playing music loosely described as “jazz hip hop krautrock ” while simultaneously defying every definitions of each category completely. And now here they are with “Naturaleza Muerta”: some of their most inaccessible and yet sublime music to date.
Featuring the album version of their earlier single “Disparan (Fill the Skies)” with Deftones’ Chino, but also unlikely but equally evocative collaborations with Camila Moreno, Mapuche poet Mapurbe, percussion ensemble Avalancha.
Recorded and mixed at the superb Estudios CHT in Santiago…a special thank you to Felipe Arratia and Gonzalo González for their help with this, and a big congratuations Como Asesinar a Felipesfor putting quality and inspiration first!
