Po Krugu

On their most recent offering”Po Krugu”, Russian underground pioneers uSSSy pushes the tradition of oriental noise rock even further. Inspirational music includes performances in Persian tar by Jalil Shahnaz, and (msically) drunken parties of Afghan Pushtuns with Amjid Malang playing rabab. Reggae and dub bass lines take inspiration out of tune bass found in the music of Thai Mor Lam. AND, it features a return of Artem Galkin on Tanbur! The sound on the album is rough and overloaded as is often found in traditional lo-fi recordings with oriental music. The album was written from August 2018 to the end of 2020.
